It is located in the center of Yangtze River Delta— Taicang Port Economic and Technological Development Zone, leverages multi-modal transportation network that integrates river-sea and port-rail logistics, providing global customers with agile and reliable delivery services.
Driven by the mission of "Intelligent manufacturing containers and creating infinite possibilities for customers," CIMC Taicang is committed to the R&D, manufacture, sales, and service of ISO containers, special containers, logistics transportation equipment, containerized & integrated equipment and marine equipment. CIMC Taicang leads the industry with its champion products 20GP, 40GP, 53' container, and open-top container. Annual production capacity reaches 450,000 ISO standard containers and 100,000 units special containers. The market share of standard container has ranked first in the industry for consecutive years.

12th, May, 2004, Foundation of TAICANG CIMC CONTAINER Co., Ltd.
3rd, June, 2005, the first ISO standard container was offline in Line A.
In 2008, Line B of CIMC Taicang was completed and put into production. CIMC Taicang became the important ISO container production base in East China with the greatly increased production capacity.
In 2009, CIMC Taicang was the first batch of members to join the CIMC “ONE” lean organization and initially established a “ONE” lean management system.
In 2013, CIMC Taicang started the construction of "oasis factory" and was committed to building a world-class benchmark enterprise which could realize automatic production with more environment friendly, safety, higher technology content and information level.
In November 2014, Line A's modification of CIMC Taicang was started.
On 28th, July, 2015, the first special container was successfully offline from Line A.
5th, February, 2016, Foundation of TAICANG CIMC SPECIAL LOGISTICS EQUIPMENT Co., Ltd. opening a new development path of multi-type products.
In April 2017, CIMC Taicang took the lead in mass-production containers with waterborne coating in East China.
In November 2018, the ERP upgrade pilot project of CIMC Taicang was successfully launched.
In January 2019, CIMC Taicang started the CIMC group's intelligent manufacture model project of container base structure.
In 2020, the intelligent manufacture model project of containers base structure of CIMC Taicang was first verified adopted by CIMC group experts. “Scientific and technological innovation” promotes the high-quality development of CIMC Taicang.
In March 2021, Line C (of “Twin Star Project— Subproject of Longteng Project”) was officially started construction and put into production on 22nd, December, 2021, forming a large-scale production layout combined with lines A, B and C in CIMC Taicang.
In April 2021, CIMC Taicang was fully introduced the Excellent Performance Evaluation System.
TAICANG CIMC CONTAINER Co., Ltd. won the “Suzhou Quality Award”, which improved the comprehensive competitiveness of CIMC Taicang.
