Unlike a regular closed container, the 20' GP soft open top container is not rigid, but is made of a soft material such as canvas, plastic sheeting, or plastic-coated cloth and is supported by a foldable top beam. This design allows the top of the cargo to be exposed, making it easy to load and unload oversized or heavy cargo that needs to be lifted.
