R&D center under CIMC Taicang was established in 2005, having a number of well-known experts and senior engineers. After years of development, it has built Jiangsu Special Logistics Equipment Engineering Technology Research Center, Jiangsu Enterprise Technology Center, Suzhou Special Logistics Equipment Engineering Technology Research Center, Suzhou Enterprise Technology Center and Suzhou Industrial Design Center, etc. based on the National Enterprise Technology Center, National Key Laboratory and Academician Workstation of CIMC Group.
The R&D Center has independent research and development capabilities of special containers and different kinds of high-tech innovative products. It has undertaken multiple national, provincial and municipal science and technology projects, and participated in the formulation of a number of national and industry standards. The center has applied for more than 120 patents(including more than 50 inventions).
CIMC Taicang established its own FEA(Finite Element Analysis) calculation center with a strong team of experienced FEA engineers. After years of application and research, practical analysis and calculation experience in special containers and special logistics equipment has been accumulated. The FEA computing capability has been highly recognized by many domestic and foreign customers.
