In early April 2025, when spring tides surge and all things take on a fresh look, CIMC Taicang welcomed two heavyweight clients in the global container industry - CAI and Hapag-Lloyd. Through on-site inspections and technical exchanges, the clients spoke highly of CIMC Taicang's strength and innovative potential. The continuous stream of client visits has injected strong impetus into the development of the Taicang Base in the new year, further consolidating CIMC Taicang's leading position in the container manufacturing field.
Visit from CAI clients – Reviewing 17 years of cooperation and jointly mapping out a blueprint for growth
CAI is one of the world's leading container and freight equipment leasing companies, and its cooperation with CIMC Taicang dates back to 2008. So far, our company has delivered a total of over 170,000 TEU of container to CAI, covering container types such as 20-foot, 40-foot Standard Container, 45-foot High-Cube Container, and Open Top Container.
On April 9th, an 11-member delegation from the Technical and Container Management Departments of CAI visited the Taicang Base. The clients toured the company's exhibition hall to gain an in-depth understanding of the development history and changes in the global layout of CIMC Taicang in recent years. During the meeting, both parties reviewed the past cooperation process. The CIMC Taicang team expressed sincere gratitude to CAI for its long-term support since 2008, and also presented in detail the containers that the Taicang Base has delivered to CAI cumulatively since the cooperation began.
After the meeting, we arranged an in-depth visit to the automated and intelligent container production lines for the clients. They successively visited line B's blanking workshop, the thin-plate automatic line, line C's intelligent production workshop, the new employee training base, and Wisdom Gathering Park, etc., which allowed them to intuitively appreciate our company's outstanding strength in the field of intelligent manufacturing. They also spoke highly of our rigorous and complete quality management system and the pursuit of excellence in the management system.
