On the morning of November 28, 2024, Shan Lipuo, Assistant to the President of CIMC Group, visited CIMC Taicang to conduct an in-depth investigation and provide guidance on the company's production operations, intelligent transformation, and digitalization initiatives.
During the visit, Mr. Shan immediately immersed himself in the production frontlines, touring the Stamping Workshop, the automated top and side panel line, and the welding workshop. He gained a detailed understanding of the production processes, technical craftsmanship, and equipment operations. Subsequently, he proceeded to the Employee Skills Training Center and the Safety Training Room, expressing his appreciation for CIMC Taicang's efforts in employee skill development and safety production. Additionally, Mr. Shan inspected the Digital Cockpit and, after watching the "Smart Workshop Promotional Video," he highly commended CIMC Taicang's exploratory practices in digitalization and intelligent manufacturing.
Following the tour, Mr. Shan listened to a detailed company presentation in the CIMC Taicang Cultural Exhibition Hall. During the ensuing discussion, Deputy Manager Jiang Yinfeng of the Enterprise Management Department provided a comprehensive report on the company's recent production status.
After the report, Mr. Shan expressed high praise for CIMC Taicang's management level, production capacity, and technological innovation. He encouraged CIMC Taicang to continue advancing its "intelligent transformation and digitalization," enhancing efficiency through digital and intelligent means, and achieving a green and intelligent safety production model. Mr. Shan also emphasized that CIMC Taicang, with nearly 20 years of cultural heritage and accumulation, should maintain and develop its own advantages, actively adapt to market changes, and continuously improve its core competitiveness.
Yang Weitang, Vice President of CIMC Containers Group and Chairman of CIMC Taicang, along with Li Jianjun, General Manager of CIMC Taicang, expressed their gratitude for the guidance and support from CIMC Group leadership. They affirmed that CIMC Taicang would continue to unite all employees under the leadership of the larger group, guided by the strategy of "One Expansion, Two Strengthenings, and Three Leadings." This includes expanding incremental business, strengthening standard container business, and enhancing conventional special container business.
